#letsallbewell

There is a movement sweeping across Europe right now where families are painting rainbows along with the phrase “Vamos Todos Ficar Bem” which means “Let’s All Be Well” and displaying them in their windows as a message of hope. I learned about this movement from @artwithmrs.e, one of the amazing art teachers who I follow on Instagram. 

I thought this project would be a great way to spread some light and love to our neighbors while we're indoors for the time being <3

If you would like to join in on the movement, but do not have paint at home, here is a hack from Mrs. E! Just use washable markers colored on foil to create a DIY paint palette. 

Materials: 
- paper (the thicker the better but any is fine) 
- washable markers 
- foil or wax paper 
- paint brush & water


1️⃣ using washable markers, color a spot on foil with each color (at least 2” tall and wide)

2️⃣ dip your paintbrush into water, wipe the bristles on the lip of the cup, and paint over the red on your foil to pick up the color. 

3️⃣ paint on your white paper just as you would with regular paints. The colors might be softer but they are still lovely! Thoroughly wash your brush in between each color and continue until you go all the way to Violet. 🌈 
❗️Tip- if you run out of a color on your foil and need more, do not color with your marker over the wet spot… It can ruin your marker, just go to another spot on the foil. 

4️⃣ decorate the rest of your poster however you would like, and don’t forget to add the phrase “Vamos Todos Ficar Bem”  or “let’s all be well” in English!
